About the author

Don Childrey, aka Infoman, grew up in Burlington, North Carolina. He was introduced to remote backcountry campsites in the Uwharries and Appalachians while in the Scouts, and went on to spend many more nights under the stars across the US. He published the first edition of his Uwharrie trail guide in 1998, then published another book in 2004, Star Trails Navajo, which describes the constellations from a North American perspective.
