About the author
Sallie Varner was inspired to write this book after reading Bob Martin’s book, Hiking the Highest Passes and attempting to hike all of them. She then realized that there were more passes above 12,000 feet in Colorado than were covered in Bob’s book, and set out to hike to all of them. Her book is a culmination of that effort, and she provides details for 81 of those passes.
