About the book

With great climbing in the middle of California’s Owens Valley, on the eastern flanks of the Sierra Nevada, Alabama Hills offers year-round climbing on granite with a gorgeous backdrop. While there are a range of difficulties, the featured granite knobs and domes are stacked with easier grades. Fun abounds on sport, trad, and bouldering routes on hueco- and plate- covered rock.

This book features color route photos, map, and graded lists to guide your climbing experience. Action photos and essays provide inspiration for your next visit to Alabama Hills.

About the authors

Joshua Reinig and family live in Lone Pine, CA, not far from the Alabama Hills. He’s spent much of his life climbing, and has put up over 200 routes in the area.
